Welcome! I am so grateful you are here.
Often times, nothing feels easy about navigating the family-building process and I am so very glad that you are building a network of support. It is always my goal, to work together with the client to create a treatment plan and framework that feels comfortable for everyone involved.
Through my own experience, as well as professional trainings, I have built an area of knowledge and expertise in the emotional challenges of building and raising a family. As a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am currently licensed in the states of Virginia and Louisiana. For my undergraduate education, I attended the University of Delaware, where I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. I then earned my Master's Degree in Social Work at the University of Maryland- Baltimore. Through seventeen years of experience in working with families, I have provided services in the NICU, medical foster care, private therapy and OBGYN settings.

I have focused my career on working with women who are navigating infertility, who have experienced loss, and/or are currently pregnant or postpartum. I have completed specialized perinatal trainings through Postpartum Support International, as well as through the Postpartum Stress Center. In treatment, I combine this knowledge with personal experience to provide well-rounded and clinically informed care.

Through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Feminist Theory Therapy and Solutions Focused Therapy techniques I hope to support you through your family building process.
